🔥 Strike the Flame: How Love Sparks Art, Laughter, and Lighter-Jams

Some couples go hiking.
Some binge Netflix.
And then there’s us.
We make music… with lighters.
It might sound absurd — and it is — but that’s exactly how Strike the Flame came to life.
Not in a quiet studio with soft piano music, but in our living room, mid-laughter, with a drummer (Bas) who hears rhythm in everything and an artist (me) who thinks: why the hell not?
🔥 Creativity with a Spark
We spark each other creatively by being unapologetically ourselves.
Loud. Playful. Weird.
Because we laugh so much together and share the same ridiculous humor, these moments just… happen.
A lighter jam? Just because we thought it was funny.
And yes — it turned into art.
💥 From nonsense to meaning
What started as a silly idea became a vibe.
A piece.
A painting called Strike the Flame — not just for its gold and glitter, but for what it stands for: that spark between two people. That urge. That flash of “let’s just do it.”
🎨 Why Strike the Flame?
Because some flames shouldn’t be put out.
Because real creativity comes from daring to play.
And because art — just like love — doesn’t follow rules.
👉 Strike the Flame is a one-of-a-kind artwork.
For those who want attitude, sparkle, and a wall that speaks:
With love, fire, and plenty of laughter,
Debbie ❤️
